A General Outline of Weekend Festivities
There are many festivities for students and fans to

The weekend begins very early in South Bend when there is a home football game. Whether it's the Dillon Pep Rally on a Thursday, the Alumni Quad Dance, or the Friday evening Joyce Center Pep Rally, there are plenty of opportunities for fans to get an early start to an Irish weekend.  Here is a breakdown of some of the activities that both the student body and outside fans can attend!

Complete schedule of Friday and Saturday activities
6:30- Pep Rally in either the Joyce Center, Stadium, Irish Green, or Stepan Center
Midnight- Drummer's Circle in front of the Main Building (Golden Dome). Here, the drummer's play the songs they play during the game for the students to practice their chants.
2-3 hours prior to kickoff- The team walks from the Basilica to the Stadium. A tunnel is formed for the players to walk through.
90 minutes prior to kickoff- Band Performance on steps of Architecture building.
Hour prior to kickoff- Band Marches into stadium. Fans create tunnel from Bond Hall to the Stadium.

This is a picture of the pep rally before the Penn State game in 2006. The Irish were ranked number 2 in the nation heading into the season and demand for admission to the pep rally was so great that it was forced to be moved from the Joyce Center to the Stadium. Tickets were supposedly sold for as much as 2,000 dollars the next day.
